Where it all began…
It’s true, we met in the wild! We met in May of 2016 at T&C surf shop in Haleiwa Town, thanks to Brendan almost “accidentally” hitting Keri in the face with a pile of t-shirts. After a generous discount on the sunglasses she was buying, we had a quick convo and found out we shot with the same exact camera. Our first hangout happened about a week later— a fun photo adventure at Yokohama Beach spending time playing in the water and snapping pics of the sunset.
Hakalau, Hawai‘i

We had an intimate wedding with a small group of our closest family & friends at a little bed & breakfast in Hakalau, about 20 minutes up the Hamakua Coast from Hilo town.
Many of the little details were intentionally handcrafted— part of Keri’s custom dress was made with the lace of her Mom’s wedding dress, her bouquet was made by her dad from her Grandma’s yard, and Brendan’s shirt was a custom handmade Barong (traditional Filipino shirt). Our simple ceremony took place beneath beautiful royal palms, with lights strung just for us, surrounded by lush greenery and perfect weather. We were blessed with a vibrant rainbow right after our ceremony, and we spent the weekend singing, dancing, enjoying the Hilo rain, and eating ‘ono food with our loved ones.
Building a life together
Over the years we’ve moved into an apartment together, photographed weddings and special moments, adventured with Lilo, enjoyed hikes & beach days, survived a worldwide pandemic, attended concerts, completed the HNL marathon, traveled to the outer islands, the PNW, Southeast Asia, Sydney, Fiji, and Alaska where Brendan proposed.
